Ludlow Townhouse - Bed and Breakfast

Right in the middle of Ludlow down a picturesque side street - lovely award-winning Georgian Townhouse. You can walk to all the important spots and retaurants in a couple of minutes - Karen and Dan are very nice and there is often guest parking right outside the house. Rather classy. The Church Inn - Pub with good ensuite rooms

The Church Inn - the rooms are all ensuite - fairly high standard and you have the pub downstairs which is one of the best in Ludlow - with decent food - reasonable rates and great views up the Corve Dale from the rooms at the back. It does back onto the Church though and I can't remember what time the bells stop and start. Very popular and for good reason. Church Inn Website

OUT OF TOWN AND SURROUNDING COUNTRYSIDE

Hopton House

Our favourite B&B would have to be Hopton House at Hopton Heath. If they have a place available, take it. A few miles outside Ludlow - super-high standards with various awards and stars (5 star gold award). Large baths in ensuite rooms and a great peaceful location. Famous breakfasts with best local ingredients from the acknowledged cream of the local suppliers - the real thing. Most recommended. Hopton House Website.

Goosefoot Barn Cottages

Goosefoot Barn Cottages are in a great location - 4 cottages which have use of a shared snooker and games room if you wish to use it! Fantastic Views - very peaceful base for touring - Goosefoot Website

Very high standard. In a great location a few miles from town - I've stayed here for a few nights myself and its easy to recommend highly. Sutton Court Cottages Website

SOUTH SHROPSHIRE FARM HOLIDAYS GROUP

This is a group of B&Bs and self-catering cottages which Hopton House, Goosefoot Barns and Sutton Court Cottages all belong to. If you can't get into any of these three accomodations - then have a look at the other properties on this group site - they're well-distributed around the area and all great quality.

Many people are attracted to South Shropshire by its reputation and the other market towns, but when they get here they discover the well hidden secret of Shropshire’s beautiful countryside.
